The 880GMA BIOS Explored

Don't be fooled by its micro ATX design. The bios is a full blown version, no cutbacks here. Most of the important ram, voltage settings are adjustable for fine tweaking.

Only setting I was really missing here was the IGP voltage setting. This in order to try to OC the 4250 GPU and to find out how it scaled. Sadly the Gigabyte bios engineers didn't include it. Maybe to avoid excessive voltage pumping. This made it very hard to get the IGP smooth sailing over 800Mhz. In comparison to the ASrock 890GX which could do 1000Mhz with a little bit of extra voltage.

Let's hope future bios version will include this feature.
