Razer Hammerhead True Wireless Pro In-Ear Headphones Review

Audio/Others by stefan @ 2021-03-08

After fitting the preferred ear tips, we started listening to different YouTube videos, podcasts and even took some phone calls. While using the Razer Hammerhead True Wireless Pro to take phone calls, were heard by the person on the other side as we would be using the phone on speaker, but the quality has improved quite a lot after performing the latest firmware update. While you cannot expect to have the same amount of bass as when using a pair of on-ear headphones, these can deliver clear voices with good mids. Thanks to the low weight and lack of cables, the headphones are very comfortable to wear, even during workout sessions, having IPX4 water resistance.

A Closer Look Part III

On the bottom of each stem, we will find two charging contacts but also a central voice chat microphone:

After removing the ear tip, we will find that the 10mm driver is protected with a black metallic grill; besides that, here we will also find a proximity sensor but also the Feedforward ANC microphone:

The charging case is very compact and with an all-black plastic casing; the incorporated rechargeable batteries do provide four total recharges to the headphones, which individually can hold up to 4 hours of use on a single charge. The headphones do also support fast charging, which means that only 15 minutes of charging inside the case will provide up to 3 hours of playback with ANC feature turned off:

On the bottom area of the case, we will find an USB Type-C charging port:

On the back we will find the top cover hinge but also the serial number of the case:

The interior of the case is made from piano black plastic and also features magnets for fitting the headphones much easier:

The charging indicator will turn red as soon as we have connected the case to our test computer; after the charging has been completed, the LED will turn green:
