Razer Hammerhead True Wireless Pro In-Ear Headphones Review

Audio/Others by stefan @ 2021-03-08

After fitting the preferred ear tips, we started listening to different YouTube videos, podcasts and even took some phone calls. While using the Razer Hammerhead True Wireless Pro to take phone calls, were heard by the person on the other side as we would be using the phone on speaker, but the quality has improved quite a lot after performing the latest firmware update. While you cannot expect to have the same amount of bass as when using a pair of on-ear headphones, these can deliver clear voices with good mids. Thanks to the low weight and lack of cables, the headphones are very comfortable to wear, even during workout sessions, having IPX4 water resistance.

A Comply foam leaflet is also available, advertising the features of these tips online such as better noise isolation, great comfort but also a secure fit. These tips should be replaced after 3-4 months, when the foam will no longer provide enough flexibility to be used properly:

The manual does explain with enough details the components of the product (including the charging case), how to charge the headphones and the case, hot to read the LED status indicator but also how to perform the pairing with a mobile device:

The Razer Hammerhead True Wireless Pro headphones are accompanied by their charging case, the USB cable, but also the different sets of ear tips:

The USB cable does have the Razer-specific color theme and is braided for additional durability, as we have seen with different high-end peripherals:

As mentioned before, the SmoothConfort type and SecureSeal ear tips are offered in all sizes possible (one set being directly installed on the headphones):

The Comply foam tips are packaged separately; do not mind if they are offered in a single size (medium) because the foam is easily compressible:

The headphones are offered with an all-black chassis and do borrow a bit from the AirPods stem style design:

In the back of the headphones, we will find a Razer logo plastic cover with touch capabilities, but also a Feedforward ANC microphone:
