Cougar Revenger is an affordable gaming mouse packing the proven Pixart PMW 3360 optical gaming sensor, with a comfortable shape, additional programmable buttons, onboard memory for storing profiles, RGB lighting, while the powerful UIX software allows the gamer to configure it in very much detail.

A Closer Look Contd.

On the left side panel, the mouse does feature a rubberized layer, two extra programmable buttons which are easy accessible, but also three LED lights for signaling the current DPI setting:

 

 

 

 

 

 

The right side panel is coming with a similar rubber textured layer, but no additional interfaces can be spotted:

 

 

 

Near the mouse scroll wheel, we can spot a Trigger button which does come with a different actuation mode (it must be pressed inwards). The new usage mode of this particular button is easy to get used with:

 

 

 

The frontal mouse wheel is quite large, does feature an interesting design and it does not rattle during usage:

 

 

 

If we take a look on the bottom area of the Revenger mouse, we will get to see large bottom PTFE feet, but also the central sensor lens. This model is equipped with one of the most acclaimed sensors, PMW 3360 with a configurable DPI up to 12000. The high DPI settings are great for usage on high-resolution displays or multi-display setups:

 

 

 

Cougar did not equip this mouse with a braided USB cable, but only has a thin rubber layer; its length is 1.8m, enough for most applications:

 

 

 

The custom USB connector is gold-plated, to ensure optimal contact:

 

 

 

Right after we have connected the mouse to a spare USB port, the LED lighting started up:
