The CHERRY MW 2310 was clearly not thought for high-end gamers, but occasional gaming and plenty of office work is fully doable; we get an infrared sensor which resolution up to 2000 DPI, wireless 2.4GHz technology, incredible battery life, the possibility to use the product with only one battery at a time, symmetrical design for ambidextrous usage but also two programmable buttons via the supplied software.

A Closer Look Part II

CHERRY has designed a simple but comfortable shape for its MW 2310 model, identical on both sides, so we can say that it is optimized for both left-handed and right-handed operation:

Near the chrome plated, rubberized scroll wheel, we do have the DPI selector with its own two buttons (placed where the + and – signs reside), and we can switch between 1000/1500 and 2000 DPI values:

On the left side we do have a rest area for the thumb but also two programmable buttons, which are easy accessible:

The right side comes with the same design, but no programmable buttons are visible this time:

In the frontal area of the mouse, more precisely near the scroll wheel we also have an activity LED which will light up during the connection procedure but also when the DPI selector is accessed:

On the bottom area of the mouse we do have PTFE feet in all corners, which do make the mouse move smoothly on the surface we will use it on; there is also a small compartment where the Nano USB receiver sits, in order to have the product ready to move around or for traveling purposes; a large battery compartment can be also spotted in the middle:
