OUKITEL U10 Smartphone Review

Mobile/Smart Phones by stefan @ 2015-08-28

OUKITEL has impressed us with the release of the new U10 model, with features a 5.5’’ Full-HD JDI screen, one of the latest MTK 64-bit SoCs, 3GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory, dual-SIM capabilities but also a good Samsung 3M2 13MP CMOS sensor, which is able to produce good quality photos. The manufacturer has adopted a modern design with 2.5D curved glass while on the back we will find a super-thin metal alloy chassis so the phone does have a thickness of only 7.9mm, with the expense of a non-removable battery. The SIM tray can be ejected thanks to the included pin and supports multiple configurations: SIM+SIM or SIM+TF card for storage expansion.

On the right side we have the Power/Standby button along with the Volume rocker, which are easy to access:

On the top area of the terminal we only have the headphone jack:

OUKITEL has not opted for a full-aluminum back but has combined the middle metallic layer with plastic on top and bottom areas:

On the top we can spot the 13MP camera lens along with the dual LED flash; further down we will be able to see the square fingerprint reader:

The bottom area houses the loudspeaker grill:

With the help of the supplied aluminum pin, we will be able to remove the SIM tray:

Here is a closer look at the tray, which allows installation of either two SIMs or one SIM and one TF card for memory expansion:
