HIS R7 240 iCooler Boost Clock 2GB GDDR3 Video Card Review

Videocards/VGA Reviews by stefan @ 2014-01-01

The R7 240 iCooler Boost Clock 2GB video card from HIS features the lowest performance from the bunch and comes with the stock clocks. Despite the fact that the product is quite overclockable, we weren’t able to reach the performance of the regular R7 250.

Packaging, A Closer Look

The HIS Radeon R7 240 packaging is almost identical to the one we have seen with the R7 250 variant:

On the side of the box we will get to see the total memory quantity, the benefits of registration, but also some drawings of the box contents:

On the back side of the packaging we will get to see some of the product highlights, the list of features, but also the system requirements:

After removing the top layer of the packaging, we will end up with a plain black box, which features the HIS logo in the middle:

On top of the transparent plastic mold in which the card is held, we will get to see the documentation:

We will receive a Multilanguage Installation Guide, but also a leaflet which shows us the correct way to install the card into the slot:
