PowerColor Radeon HD 7790 TurboDuo 1GB Video Card Review

Videocards/VGA Reviews by stefan @ 2013-05-13

The new Radeon HD 7790 TurboDuo 1GB card from PowerColor features overclocking from the factory and a custom cooling system with two fans and a heatsink with a single heatpipe. The fan speed profile was tuned for achieving good temperatures and by raising the clocks even further from Catalyst Control Center, we can squeeze the last performance drop from the card.

On the back side of the card, we will clearly see the fan header and a single 6-pin PCI-Express power connector:

The other side of the card is also fully covered:

On the back side of the card we will see a lot of unused mounting holes, along with some product stickers with serial numbers:

At the back of the card, we will see two cut-outs of the PCB, of a similar shape as the ones from the GTX 480 printed circuit board; PowerColor likes to call these Aerodynamics Kit:

On the I/O, we have one DisplayPort connector, a single HDMI and two DVIs:

Besides the card, we will also get a User Guide, a disk with drivers and a DVI to VGA adapter:

The User Guide is written in multiple languages and will help us perform the hardware installation:
