The AirLive X.USB Dual Band USB Adapter from OvisLink is an interesting looking product, with two external antennas, to provide more coverage compared to most USB adapters on the market, that feature internal antennas.
The new X.USB product from OvisLink was designed to function properly even at higher distances compared to other USB Wireless adapters, with internal antennas; the device is not very compact when the antennas are attached and it would have been better if the manufacturer would have included a dock for it (like the TEW-645UB from TRENDnet).
In the speed transfer tests, it did not beat any records and can be placed in the middle in terms of performance; however, when switching between wireless modes from the router, it connected really fast and I did not encounter any sudden disconnects.
The product does not come with a fancy software utility, and most of the settings can be customized directly from the driver in Device Manager.
