Superflower SF-402 Review In little Belgium, Superflower is rather an exotic brand. They have good stuff, but aren’t well known. When I bought my new PC, some shops had a new case: the SF 402. It was good-looking, made of aluminium, had a 350W PSU and costed only 85-100€! So I decided to buy one for my new PC... http://www.madshrimps.be/gotoartik.php?articID=42 |
nice case for 85 euro's!!! I'll get one of those for the consultation room methinks, instead of crappy minicase. what's its dimensions? |
20cm wide a small 50cm long about 42 cm tall if you're going to put that P3 700 in it, I recommend to put papst NGL's in the PSU and rear.... it will keep it cool and quiet at the same time:super: |
Dimensions: 8.25" x 18" x 19.75". I think :) |
1inch = 2.5 cm 20.6*45*49.375 45cm tall? no way! |
hey! it's the only info I could find on the web :) maybe should include the dimension in the review *hint* *hint* |
p3 700 luiquidated beginning next year, replacement with 2400+ with pal 8045 and silent cooling, a bit OC-ed with epox mobo. patiënts will go faster :) folding too :) together with wireless lanned 3+ gigger and two duron 650's (both girlfriends :) ) case dimensions MUST be included in the review, pleaze :) |

I have also bought this case en the temps are very good. Castemp is 23° with an ahtlonxp1800@1725 (vcore1.85V) gf4ti4200@318/622, .... I have only installed one extra casefan. |
mmmm gonna be my next case for a friend ..... maybe ..... hopefully :D |
Bought one from Piotke, didn't use it yet but I'm glad it's a good case :). |
I have bought this case again today and it seems like there is a new revision of it. The sidepannels are much thicker then the original one. |
great pics tomorrow of the Sf-402 case after 1.5 years :( I was holding a sidepanel, brother pulled it out of my hands => sidepanel bent badly a closet fell apart in the dorm of my brother => piece of wood felt on the case, case got totally fuxx0red and the video card died |
and then you threw the case into the oven to loosen the heatsinks and it melted. maybe you should not bent the sidepanels or drop wood on the case? |
great constructive comments this case is VERY sensitive to damage. the aluminium of the case is too just too weak to make the case durable. take the sidepanel of any case, and let someone pull it out of your hands. or drop something heavy on the case. AFAIK, most cases won't get damaged badly. |
It's stronger now, but even the weaker version I had wasn't broken or damaged. |
