Silverstone latest compact heatsink is light weight, features 120mm fan support and promises to provide excellent cooling for your hot running CPU. Let's see how it does.

nitrogon jmke ;)

oh and having to take out the mobo to mount a bracket behind the mobo is a definate con in my book (although very common in higher end).

looks like a decent piece o' work though.

If a cooler gets pwned by the Si-120 it better only costs only 20€ or less, even the supplied fan is crap.

I wonder what amateurs have designed the thing that it is that bad, even in china they can design high performance units.

2 thumps down for this one

more compact design + 120mm fan support allows it to fit in cases that are small

Silverstone has send me an update regarding the AM2 compatibility of the NT06.

the bracket can be ordered in any shop which sells the NT06, additionally the NT06 is also available without fan under the name "NT06 Lite". The custom bracket also makes the NT05 AM2 compatible.

Attached are the instructions for the installation of the NT06 on AM2
