nice review, on thing though (no, i don't want to be a pain in the ***) but in the end lazyman writes "Some users may not appreciate the high efficiency factor (>80%), your UPS battery will keep your system running longer let alone saving you a few dollars in the long run." shouldn't that be "may appreciate" as i don't see anything bad about the high efficiency rating

Good catch; thanks :)

lol, thought so :)

What I wanted to say was; some users just don't care. Example - any low thermal loss product yields lower energy cost and heat, yet some consumers don't really pay attention to; high efficiency means using less to get more. Today's processors from Intel is a good example. users may not appreciate AMD lower energy consumption and higher efficiency factor :)

Same difference.

while some don't; others do ... making no difference in logical thinking:)

Bottom line, they make very good PSU; I like to buy bread direct from a baker. If they only have trim pots, I would give it a highly recommended product rating.;)

indeed, but while some users might not care, i can't imagine them seeing it a negative point

The change would be more a positive statement I must agree ..... so that readers would not have a second thought.

Better efficiency = higher value components = high cost = higher price, which becomes a negative to some I believe:)

The efficiency factor is better than OCZ, & PC Power & Cooling is introducing the >85% http://www.pcpowercooling.com/about/...php#top-choice

yes, you do have a point with the cost there, however, value buyers won't really consider any of the better powersuplies then because most of the time things are like in the saying "you get what you pay for". and eventually, the cost difference will be zero in the long run as what you paid extra for the psu you will save on your electricity bill

This type of PSU is targeted at enthusisasts; imagine anyone could walk into Walmart and carry out a $400 complete system, a $130 PSU is insane for most users.

Not many people know what ISO means ;)
