haha :D you have a point there :D |
There's a lot of new features to test with this motherboard, actually. Check out the wheel in the bottom-right of the motherboard: MSI has it's own Tweak-It!! |

looks like a cool piece to play with :D Its making me curuis (nieuwschierig) on how this board is going to preform :D |
I'm not sure what to expect from it. On the one hand, the MSI people really made me interested when we were talking with them at Cebit, on the other hand ... my last MSI AM2+ motherboard died on my using -only- 1.4v! |
hmm, maybe they have some new tricks up there sleeve making it more lets just say intresting :D And will you send 1.4V trough this motherboard aswell :p |
If it's any decent on air cooling: 1.8v on LN2 ;-). |
(no 2v+ ... because my chip doesn't scale with voltage :p) |
lolz :D wel this is somthing i want to see :D |
There's already Ph-II LN2 action to see on this website ;-). |

i already read it :D was intresting :D |
Lol, just get Janneke to send you over an other sample if you brake this one while OCing. She'll understand. Did you get hold of any technical guys at Cebit? Press relations are great but sometimes the technical guys can show you just that little interesting thing that makes the product much more interesting. |
Max HTT: 340, which is 3D stable 341 = no boot |
Performance tests are over, totally focus on overclocking at the moment. It seems that the MSI is better at CPU/IMC/MEM overclocking (a bit higher than the dfi), but the HTT isn't going as high as the dfi. Around 340MHz still is the highest I've seen, although it must be possible to go higher since the MAXFSB feature in the bios already clocks the system up to 337MHz HTT ... and that's only an auto-oc feat. Anyway, check out what the maxfsb feature does to the memory: (click picture) RAM Speed : 665 MHz (1:2) @ 5-5-5-15 Very tight latencies to say the least! This is what the first boot with MAXFSB gives me: http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=546579 |
