Be forewarned, what your about to see isnīt pretty and may have long term traumatic effects on those whom love their graphic cards. I wasn't sure how this scenario was going to work out. In the end there are still tests to be conducted on other hardware involved. I must say this, without a doubt John has taken a mediocre article and gave it really nice flow. Exclellent writing for someone as busy as he. Just as I was deciding between MCT and mixing my own solution. MCT it is, thank you very much for sharing your experience Liquid . I'm gonna be using fuel line clamps on my hoses. I was wondering if anyone has better suggestions for securing tubing? |
I'm more curious what the solution will do to radiator liners and the pump should it leave residues as such. |
the residue is left when dried? which should not happen in a pump.. right? :) |
I have to say my friend I love that username Goingpostale 1, hehe. Sometimes we see so many we overlook the sense of humor behind them.My friend Justin uses Nailbomb I think your making a good choice. I mean it's not that other brands aren't good, but it's not often you get a "real-world" test hehe. "Wha happeen" |

Got my MCT-5, now to mod my Full tower for the radiator :D. Ill post if anything happens similar to what happened to liquid. :D |
Can we see pictures of your rig before and after? What watercooling system are you using? I'll wish you luck but the most important thing is to be THOROUGH double check all connections. I also have been placing folded paper-towels just beneath the waterblock letting it rest on the mounting screws so if any liquid happens to leak when you first turn on the system it'll catch it. You can leave them there until you feel comfortable until your sure every connection is water-tight I just adpated an Alphacool VGA cooler and installed it on my Asus P5ND2-SLi dlx northbridge C19, since they run so HOT. I'm hoping this will help. I also installed their CAPE KC42 XC (reviewed here) which they recently sent me the Socket-775 adapter for, making another review for plethora I have. I wish Com-Tra would get back to me as well as OCUK whom was supposed to contact me about the Storm G4 by Swiftech. The new set-up looks coolio.... |
