Great review!!!

Nice to know SLi 2x 6600GT can perform as well as 7600GT. Any plan for testing XF 2x 1600 XT

Suggestion: why not include World of Warcraft FPS comparison for the mid-range graphics cards? With around 5 million people playbase, it's definitely the mainstream game on the market. It would be extremely interesting to see what kind of FPS do these cards pull off at different resolutions/AA/AF.

Love this site. A lot of objective reviews of important topics that other sites ignores.

welcome to the forums vitaminc, can World of Warcraft be played offline? because if not, it will be very hard to create a repeatable test scenario.

Nope it can't be played offline, and I think it would require FRAPS to record and calculate the frame rate. ><

fraps is not the issue, but the every changing gameplay world is very hard to create a repeatable test scenario

Nice review.

Looking closer at the video card I discovered a missing resistor close to the PCIe connector
It's a SMD-capacitor

I picked up a Chaintech 7600GT after reading the review for $150 -

Doom3 Ultra setting 1280x1024 = ~103 FPS
