With CRTs you had screen size, refresh rates and price and you could be fairly sure that you did not have to worry about anything more. | ![]() I think I discovered one more thing that is 100% true for LCDs: Just as with cars, it is better to buy a model that has been in production for 6-12 months than one that has just been released. That way the bugs are worked out and the production line knows how to make the product properly. Be aware that the distribution can easily add a 6 months delay! Rule of the thumb is: Buy only after the product has been out for 12 months in your country. |
