| I love the board and its features, however the Chaintech's Install Manual is pathetic. There are so many errors, omissions, and out of sequence steps. It's definitely not written for the novice. That, and Chaintech's support responds first with a warning that they are low on help, and then it takes about three days to get an answer. A real pain when I'm waiting to fix something. And, they don't sign their answers so there's no way to find out who sent the incomplete/wrong answer. And, English is not their first language so they have problems writing clear and concise answers. Kerry |

| Hi, I recently purchased this motherboard, and I installed it into an existing system. Everything is running fine exept for the fact that I can get no audio to work. Could you please explain the steps to getting the sound card/firewire card to work. (In addition I can't get the other audio jacks that are integrated into the mother board to work either. I have tried installing the drivers and nothing happened.) |

| Hi V: I'd recheck to make sure the CBOX3 wires (both ends) are per the instructions. Quote:

| When I installed the CBOX3 I followed the instructions in the booklet exactly. So I don't think its that. The card with the 7.1 and firewire... is it supposed to have anything pluged into it or just itself plugged into the motherboard? |

| Hi V: Re: "The card with the 7.1 and firewire... is it supposed to have anything pluged into it or just itself plugged into the motherboard?" I don't remember. I'd have to take my cover off to see. Have you looked at this page http://www.madshrimps.be/?action=ge...535&articID=127. It has the correct wiring for the CBOX3. Kerry |

| I just read the review of the motherboard and it didn't clear anything up. I'm not having any trouble with the CBOX3, I'm having trouble with the Chaintech Multimedia Riser card. In fact I don't think any audio works on the entire system, exept for the basic system sounds. |

| if you installed the CBOX3 + audio you had to remove jumpers from the board for the audio ports at the front to be activated, did you try replacing them?
