Do you know this heatsink when used with Chill Vent produces a 8-10C lower CPU temp?
The same rig is still in placed since the test (5 months).:)
The explanation may well be the low C/W of the heatsink when air density increased (pressure) it performs much better.

I don't realy agree with that. AC mentions that the low setting is for max. a 2500+ (~68.3W), and your cpu is overclocked and creates about 90W !. That almost 20W above that max. this HS can handle.

The lowest setting is for those who wants a silent computer with less power.

I am still using it; despite the fact that I have all kinds of heatsinks here.:)
For low noise and decent performance; I did not believe it for a few weeks. Wrote to Scythe and have never heard any reply.:D
