Request:

Weight table listing heavy weight championship fight. (both in Kg and lbs.)

jmke 17th August 2004 21:58

Thermalright units are on route with UPS from www.bacata.net , I'll include weight of each unit, although I have to doubts the Hyper6 will be at the top of the chart.

The XP120 weighs in almost identical to Stock Intel is impressive. Do I add the weight of the fan if not so equipped from the manufacturers?
I'm surprised at the NCU2000 250 gr weight.

Good info.;)

jmke 21st August 2004 18:06

only stock cooler was with fan added, all the others are "sans" :)

wutske 21st August 2004 19:28

Wow that Hyper6 is heavy :o

jmke 21st August 2004 23:13

Finished the XP test, next up Intel ones that another 7+ hours straight of testing I need to do, hope the results are interesting.. or else! :)

next week A64

Is the Stock Intel the new copper base?
Piotke has the copper base from the Prescott. The all alum is outdated.:D

Laagvliegerke 20th January 2005 00:11

Any progress? :D ;)
I'm really looking forward to see the difference in noise and performance between a Thermalright XP-120 and a Zalman CNPS7700Cu. I think many people are interested in a decent review.

jmke 20th January 2005 10:57

next up is part 2 of P4 HSF testing which will include XP-120 and Z7700CU

for A64 I'll be using A64 only heatsinks as otherwise this will be too consuming.

P4 testing is scheduled for upcoming weekend

Maybe You could test (also with socket 478):
