Every time you restart the pc the program will restart ...
... and picks up were it stopped.

Check your fahlog:
- for example you have finished 47 of a 100 frame pack
- restart or quit program and enable it again
- you'll start again at 47

... you don't loose any info or work

The Senile Doctor 30th November 2002 21:48

does mr bosw8er realize that if he continues like this he'll be top 30 within the month?
hail bosw8er

Bosw8er 30th November 2002 21:50

Come and get me

The Senile Doctor 30th November 2002 21:52

I won't.

maybe in some years but with my hardwareprobs it most certainly won't be now as the only rig folding is (and will remain for at least some months) my p3 700 with noname mobo and sucky sdram amassing 59 3dmarks

a) it DOES lose its info
Quote:

[17:20:40] - Couldn't get size info for dyn file: work/wudata_02.dyn
[17:20:40] Starting from initial work packet
b) now it isn't folding at all!

check log again

Bosw8er 30th November 2002 21:59

Bah, you'll adore it once you get started.
Folding is very addicitive and usefull.
With little budget you'll get very far. You'll be N°1 in no time with a promethea budget.

... and you surely have a working pc around

Bosw8er 30th November 2002 22:01

Teus

it works perfect
[17:13:20] Finished a frame (21)

[17:39:36] Finished a frame (22)

no problems
no panic

DUR0N 30th November 2002 22:14

Bosw8er 1st December 2002 11:29

You're soooo stubborn

it works perfect

starting from initial work packet = starten met initiėle werkpacket ... and that is OK !

as long there is no
"Folding@Home Client Shutdown."
at the bottom everything works

Leave it like it is for a couple of hours, look what happens to the log

jmke 1st December 2002 11:39

uhm damn
this is indeed a faulty checksum
I think you do get the credit for it, but it is a faulty packet

TeuS 1st December 2002 11:40

ok it's folding allright
[11:27:26] Finished a frame (1)

but it restarts the project every time!
