which P4's do you have?
perhaps because of multithreading? I've seen somewhere that multithreading cpu's are displayed as 2

1700+ & P4 2.53 here are displayed as 3 CPU's... perhaps of my multithreading capable P4T533

no HT overhere... :)
only one P4 running, so that would make 5 cpu's with HT (which is not the case, 2.53 B0 / P4T533 , not 6 :) )

it will calculate as different machines if you use different OS'n, or reinstall the client alot :)
