heheheheh hello:banana: lets kick [H] *** :) we hemme de koeie al doen loeie en we kunne da nog nekeer he  |
if you run your XP2000+ 24/7 you'll see your productivity jump from 7.59 to 20+ :) welcome aboard & thanks for sharing your idle CPU cycles for science! please reply in the language the thread is started in, this forum is internationally aimed :^) |
I have 3 WU's in que (with the vlblue dot). How do I send them back? |
they will go automatically once the .109 server has less load (is overloaded for the moment , that's why sending fails) |
      20.000       Excellent-a-mundo teammates ! If we would have had a seperate team, we would have been at place ... 89 .. worldwide ... :o :o :o fah3-console-beta1 (or whatever client you have) + the "-send all" command sends back the results |
|
Is this just my idea (and maybe due to the fact that i work on the PIV) or does my XP1600+ fold a lot harder than my PIV 2.67? And by the way, sending in the results, do we have to worry about that, or does it happen automatically? I run the console client twice in hidden mode and using Foldmonitor to watch em both..... |
Athlon kicks P4 in the nutts :) click link in my sig & check the time per frame difference ;) example 6.4 P212_1fsvunf300 00:04:13 31/12/2002 Duron900 6.4 P212_1fsvunf300 00:03:37 05/12/2002 P4@2520 6.4 P212_1fsvunf300 00:02:35 05/01/2003 XP@1610 6.4 P212_1fsvunf300 00:02:07 05/01/2003 XP@2010 edit: results are send in automatically, you can "force" it with the "-send all" argument, but thisis rarely needed I run the firedaemon service on all PC's + EMIII to monitor :) |
Weird, is there a logical explanation for this? the athlon-PIV thing i mean |
the FPU of the Athlon CPU's is alot stronger then that of the P4 the pentium has to run at 1500+mhz faster to reach the same performance as the Athlon. The P3 and Athlon Tbird were evenly matched the P4 was slower then the P3 @ same clockspeed, but scaled better for higher MHZ. But MHZ != FASTER in one cycle (1 hertz) AMD is faster then INTEL Intel tries to outperfrom AMD by running 1.5x the amount of cycles ;) |
to get your results, you guys turn your pc's on day and night? |
only the PC in my room goes off during the night :) |
i don't have a pc in my room lol bedrooms are for "sleeping" and occasionaly ... |
once I'm living solo, I'm going after DDTUNG :D |
lol building a farm with 1u racks ??? |
0.25 ;) I'm off to bed :) |
me to goodnight every1 |
What ? No daily output ? hmm ... tb 1133 folding from 12h ntill now, 2* p3 450 folding 24/7 ! |
What I don't understand is: some WU's are worth 10.4 points and my cpu works 11:00h on it. other WU's are worth 7.6 points and my cpu works 15:56h on it. Time/Frame for the 10.4 point WU= 3:18 Time/Frame for the 7.6 point WU= 9:34 This sucks! If I would have all 10.4 WU's that are ready in 11h, I would go up much faster in the stats! I miss the logic here; I thaught, how "harder" the WU(=more time/frame), the more points u get... From now on, I'm gonna delete WU's that don't give me enough points, only those of 10.4 points in 11h will be allowed on my system  |
congrats every one, looks like we are on a roll :) what happend Bosw8er, am I closing in on you ? :p |
i left my pc on tonight omg stupid delta fan the horror but i slept oke mini DHL Airplain inside my room and the computer is only cm away from my bed hehehehe :super: cu around |

since the WU´s you delete might hold to key to solution to cancer.. or.. and.. you get WU dependant of your CPU power everyone gets the 7.6 points @ 15h so in the end all remains the same :) |
Don't delete !! ==> It doesn't make ANY influence at all (look below at how points are calculated). Or you do 24 hours on a 10 point WU, or you do 12 hours on two 5 point WU's ... ==> you are ONLY giving the Stanford more work and load How do you determine how many points a work unit is worth? Before putting out any new work unit, we benchmark it on a dedicated 500MHz Celeron machine (this machine does not have SSE/3DNow). We plug the results of this into the following formula: points = 2 * multiplier * (daysPerWU) where daysPerWU is -- no surprise -- the number of days it took to complete the unit. Please, this is a project for a good cause. The ladder system and :rod: are a fun bonus ... let's not do foolish things which only undermine the project. What's next: make your own WU's, crack WU's, ... ? And thus getting lot's of points ? And thus destroying a perfectly good project of which you or your family could benifit from ? |
hoo hoo hoo I was only joking about that part (look at the  at the end of my previous post) I'm not so  ly obsessed ;) I just noticed that and wrote it down here... I'm not gonna spend more time on it, looking for the right WU's, that would be TOO  So, I'm just folding on  |
woohoo, I've entered the top 50  plz upd. list :) |
