[M] is hiring!

Update: our crew is currently full , don't hesitate to send me your resume nonetheless as I will put you on my short-list. thank you all for the interest shown!

To keep up with the 2-3 week / product review "deadline" we need to expand....

Not only that, but we need a few dedicated news posters who can find interesting titbits on the web.

DJ-Evil has done a great job, but he has found other interests, that's why I ask you, if you know someone who has an interest in hardware and who wants to help out with post news on our FrontPage, don't hesitate to contact me

We are accepting reviewers and web posters as we are expanding our website to accommodate to increase growth of products being sent to us for review, if we would like to keep up, we need more people :)

If you are interested, send me off your "CV" with a motivational text attached. Thanks in advance for your help!

:o

massy 10th February 2004 19:19

I'd love to help you out, but this not the best period of my life (as in absolutely no spare time).

but I'm sure you'll find the suited person(s)!

GorenBarry 13th February 2004 23:38

you've got mail ;)

IKilledMyAGOIA 15th February 2004 03:21

what exactly are you looking for in a reviewer? (location/ experience, etc...)

jmke 15th February 2004 03:31

Hi there AMD killer ;)

We're looking for people who are able to deliver quality in-depth reviews in a medium time span. At this moment we have only 1 international member (liquid3d) who is in contact with shops/resellers and manufactures on a personal bases, this provides him with a lot of independence when it comes down to acquiring material to review, but he shares his thoughts / questions on the forums where we work together on delivering the "final" goods.

Thank you for your interest, if you think you have what "it" takes, send me an email and I'll get back to you as soon as possible.

IKilledMyAGOIA 15th February 2004 04:12

email sent

jmke 15th February 2004 04:34

and replied
don't overwork yourself =)

oni0n56 28th February 2004 22:40

I'd like to sign up but... im not sure how useful i'd be because of school and stuff :-/

jmke 28th February 2004 23:26

any contribution is appreciated, although we would like to make it clear that we'd prefer a good 100% "job", then a quick&dirty 50% one. If you start something (a review/article) it has to be finished in a predefined time period, that's the only requirement, time-wise :)

neb1211 18th March 2004 03:06

I would be willing to help but I am not very good at writing reviews. Perhaps I might be able to be a news poster but I am not sure yet.

jmke 19th March 2004 21:12

any contribution is appreciated, we are currently working on a "visitor able to post news" functionality in the forums, so that newsposting can be done straight from the forum, just like make a post here, very simple and easy :)

Scyver 19th March 2004 22:55

I am reconsidering, will think it over again and maybe I will still join the [M] news posting team after I’m sure that I have enough time. First some test posts after all too check my English and writing skills

jmke 20th March 2004 02:15

I demand a full size pic of your avatar though :)

neb1211 20th March 2004 03:53

I don't think I am going to have time right now. I jsut got an email from Iomega and they wanted me to beta test a new product for them. By the way they made it sound in the email it was some sort of NAS array

IKilledMyAGOIA 21st March 2004 01:40

just have submissions emailed to the news account and then have a person dedicted to formatting and posting them?

jmke 21st March 2004 11:06

that is already in place :p
news@madshrimps.be ... :)

but the forum-way is a lot more intuitive and easier:)

Sidney 29th March 2004 09:40

Well, I've got most of my afternoons free, so I might do some stuff for you Jmke ;) But, do I need a functional computer atm? :D

One of my computers is down cos I can't get the last elements of my watercooling setup, and the other one will be ready in about 1 month (dual CPU setup, but 'de post' is really trying to compete with the snails in my grandpa's garden :grum: )...

But for the rest, it would be nice... I could continue to improve my english and it would fill in my free time :^D

If interested, send me a pm :D

:hello:

jmke 12th April 2004 09:52

Xploited Titan 13th April 2004 08:58

Xploited Titan 13th April 2004 19:10

jmke 13th April 2004 19:19

Xploited Titan 13th April 2004 19:25

I know, I said, no pun intented... But it's comprehensible ;)
i still responded in dutch, as it trains me further (now that I study in french, I haven't much an opportunity :( )...

jmke 13th April 2004 19:26

Xploited Titan 13th April 2004 19:42

Xploited Titan 3rd May 2004 15:01

No problem, just waiting for my package with dual CPU and PSU to be found back (those *ssh*les lost it... :grum: )... Then I'll do the review of the Yeong Yang YY-B0221 ;)

In the meanwhile, keep the good work up buddies :hello:
