I did a stress test too: with the Chill Vent: 58°C // 44°C // 40°C without: 56°C // 42°C // 40°C I also tested with only the 80mm fan, I couldn't mount it anywhere in the front (and I won't drill a hole in it :)). I had to put it above my power supply, exhausting air. 55°C // 40°C // 41°C as I thought, not much improvement also but hell, what am I complaining, thanks for the chill vent [Mad]Shrimps, I'm sure I can do something with it :) |
Have you looked at the website? No need to drill any hole. http://www.koolsolutions.net/Installation.htm The direction to install the 80mm fan. The picture you posted on the "feet" could be installed facing the other side.;) I always thought CV is very simple to understand and to install, I guess I have been wrong all together.:D Before 80mm fan installed After 80mm fan installed Feet could be placed in different orientation; |
I'm sorry, I meant I removed the Chill Vent and used the 80mm fan that came with the CV only. :) |
If you live in the U.S., I would be at your door step Monday in finding out why it wouldn't work in your rig. That is the only way I know how to treat a customer. But ..... :bash: And after 10 minutes I say to myself ......:cheer: for trying. |
When are heatsinks shipped? Haven't received anything yet... Just asking BTW... ;) |

Chill vent doesn't fit on my SLK, plus my sys temp is like .. 25 case 46 cpu so I don't really need it. If anyone wants it; or a trade against their prize go ahead & ask |
