Zalman VF700-Cu LED VGA Cooler

Well, there you have it. The VF700-Cu LED from Zalman has performed very well for me this past week and I can highly recommend it. With great looks and excellent performance, this cooler would be an asset to most any compatible graphics board out there. Installation was a snap thanks to Zalman’s online installation guides and compatibility charts, and the noise-to-cooling ratio is very good.

In fact, there is only one criticism I have about this cooling solution.

I don’t care for the Multi-Connector supplied with the kit. Let’s face facts. Nobody is going to crack open the case to change fan speeds. With video card manufacturers incorporating fan speed control into their designs, it would be nice to take advantage of that technology with aftermarket coolers as well. The VF700 is widely available at online retailers and some careful shopping will get you one of these little honeys for a shade under $25 US. 270 grams of coppery coolness for under 25 bucks is good value, in my book. I’m very impressed with this cooler. It performs as stated and does it with some style.
