I was just about to post the same news. Seems to be an awesome case for the silence freak! I hope the price will be right.

I really doubt whether it's easy to change your hardware components... let's hope you don't have to take 2 weeks vacation if you want to switch your motherboard.

Evangeliz 21st August 2003 17:56

Is more suited for a server machine, which obviously doesn't need to change mainboards every 2 weeks ;)

the maniak 21st August 2003 20:50

If they aren't to expensive maybe i'll buy one, because I hate the noice my case makes

but what about the PSU?? is it also heatpiped??

TeuS 21st August 2003 20:58

I guess so, Zalman also produces PSU's

damn, that's one of the things that are on my wish list, together with a Via micro-ATX board housed in an Aopen alu slim tower and a YeongYang servercase

GorenBarry 21st August 2003 21:06

just forget it, way 2 expensive me dunkt btw I like the sound of my pc, then i now at least it's running :super:

uhm serverroom would care less if the PC made noise or not

GorenBarry 21st August 2003 21:51

jmke 21st August 2003 21:51

GorenBarry 21st August 2003 21:52

Finally, infinite peace in the cardboard. It has for a long time to finally such a product in the mass-market appears lasted. The manufacturer will be able itself to hardly save from the many vorbestellungen. On the paper convincingly we wait technically already now on the first samples and price information. One might be now already clear however, the price far below all self's building Konstruktiuonen will lie, since Zalman is specialized in absolute mass production as well known 6 Heatpipes for the CCU and 2 for the graphics map as well as 10 for the non removable disk might keep the system optimally cool. We are pleased on it and now already say ourselves tschuess your exhaust and Krachmacher! Hopefully is soon Christmas: -)

Some peops have servers in their livingroom you know ;)
I do ;)
I didn't ment company servers, well you get the point

FreeStyler 22nd August 2003 10:38

The PSU's transistors are mounted directly to the outer case.
Exterior is ALU (off course)

I would have preferred a HP-80 combo with the case heatpipe.
These vidcards can get hot.

I'd still like to see what the case would really look like (these are all promo shots)

Wood isn't exactly a good heat conductor/exchanger so I doubt it is made of wood.
