You Thought 4K TV Looked Real? This One Goes to 8K
 

This could be the case for 'if you build it, they will come' Japan's NHK is hoping for just that if they ever get their 8K super-high-def televisions into production mode. The 8K screens were being shown off this week at the NAB show in Las Vegas. There's precious little content for it outside some 4K-mastered Blu-rays from Sony and a specialty YouTube channel, but more stuff to watch will arrive soon enough, just as it did with 1080pi.
