Xiaomi unveils the Mi Mix Alpha with SD855+ and 108MP camera Stunning concept phone with "surround display" Xiaomi has just unveiled its new Mi Mix Alpha 5G concept phone which is not a foldable screen phone but rather comes with a wrap-around screen for 180.6 percent screen-to-body ratio, titanium alloy frame, 108-megapixel camera module, and Snapdragon 855+ SoC. The design and the new surround display are obviously the key traits of the new Mi Mix Alpha, and it comes with a slim top and bottom bezels (2.15mm), using TC4 aerospace-grade titanium allow frame with a ceramic back strip which houses the camera module and is coated with 2.99g full sapphire glass cover. The screen, which is a single display panel, wraps around the entire phone and it will have pressure-sensitive sides and offer 180.6 percent screen-to-body ratio. Unfortunately, Xiaomi did not talk about things like resolution, but the whole concept looks beautiful. Xiaomi said it uses AI and special sensors for mis-touch detection and the sides of the screen are perfect for display notifications and status icons. There is a haptic motor for tactile feedback. The phone will use display acoustic technology, features ultrasonic proximity sensors, and have advanced mis-touch detection. https://fudzilla.com/news/mobile/494...d-108mp-camera |
