| XFX FX 5700 Ultra 128 MB DDR It seems like a lifetime ago that the nVidia 5700Ultra with its splash of DDR2 memory hit the streets. This mid-range card produced good solid mid-range performance, but with top-range quality. Having learnt from a previous disastrous attempt into the world of DDR2 nVidia this time gave it a 128-bit memory bus and a 256 bit GPU, enabling this memory to stretch its legs. ATI never made this error with their dip into DDR2 and mixed the correct memory bus with the very strong 9800 Radeon GPU producing a card that I immediately fell in love with. http://www.themodfathers.jolt.co.uk/...n=show&id=9748 |
