Windows Home Server Still Crippled By Corruption Issues Two months have passed and the issue has not been resolved. Instead, Microsoft conceded that the scope of the problem is much bigger than initially estimated. Microsoft acknowledged numerous customer reports of corruption in the following programs, though it says it has thus far been unable to replicate them: * Apple iTunes * Zune Software * Photoshop Elements * WinAmp * Microsoft Office Excel * Mozilla Thunderbird * Visual Dataflex http://www.dailytech.com/Windows+Hom...ticle10809.htm |
unbelievable :/ |
Reading the blogs from the various WHS team members (including the GM), you'd think no problem existed.... http://kindel.com/blogs/charlie/ http://blogs.technet.com/homeserver/ What's worse is that from discussions on the WHS Forum, it seems that to get a fully functional copy we'll have to buy a 'Version 2' of WHS. I wonder what the hardware partners - HP etc, think of it all? |
they get screwed because of the cost of support calls? |
