Windows 7 RC Now Available for MSDN, TechNet Microsoft said in its press release that the RC milestone indicates the operating system is entering the final phases of development and is ready for partners to develop new applications, device drivers and services, and ready for IT pros to evaluate Windows 7 and examine how it will operate in their environment. In other words, it’s almost ready for prime time. “Listening to our partners and customers has been fundamental to the development of Windows 7,” said Bill Veghte, senior vice president for the Windows business at Microsoft. “We heard them and worked hard to deliver the highest quality Release Candidate in the history of Windows. We have more partner support than we’ve ever had for an RC and are pleased to say that the Windows 7 RC has hit the quality and compatibility bar for enterprises to start putting it through its paces and testing in earnest.”http://www.tomshardware.com/news/win...l#xtor=RSS-181 |
First site to mention it. I've been trying to download this all afternoon, speeds have been abysmal and the connection has dropped a few times. Will take almost 12 hours to download 3.1GB if it keeps up... |
does that surprise you ? Everyone is trying to download this 3.1Gb file at the same time. in my humble opinion you're better off waiting for it to appear on TPB. |

no sure what to know that version is not trojanned ;) |
Yeah, but I'd rest easier knowing there isn't any hidden "extras" included in my copy. ;) |

if they nestled in inside the install there's a good chance no vscan will find it;) |
Agreed, and many AV programs will not look for or find rootkits either. Just take a read of http://arstechnica.com/apple/news/20...-is-active.ars Just because nothing obvious or no obvious malware is found doesn't mean it's not hidden in there somewhere. ;) |
