Why an Apple car is not going to happen
 

It is becoming obvious that the fruity cargo cult Apple is out of ideas and it defaulting to just copying other people, but one suggestion by the Tame Apple press – that Jobs' Mob is going to make a car is too silly for words.

With the Apple watch poised to be a huge yawn, it has been suggested that Jobs' Mob has been looking at one of its admirers Tesla's CEO Elon Musk and saying "we should try that."

Musk has revealed just how far Apple is willing to go to bring his best workers over to Cupertino. In fact, Musk actually told Bloomberg that Apple is "offering $250,000 signing bonuses and 60 percent salary increases" for jumping ship.

Now since the average salary for a Tesla engineer is somewhere between $95,000 and $121,000 depending on the kind of work they're doing that means that there is a huge amount of Apple dosh headed the engineer's way.

The other thing that will happen is that Tesla loses all its expertise and has to surrender the field to Apple. This is more or less what Apple has been sued over in the recent battery case.
