however it will be difficult to see any gaming difference without a stopwatch at your side. And 300 bucks is same as a raptor 74gb plus a 400gb datadrive.

I have two raptors 74 and one 400 seagate in my gaming rig, won't be changing anything now :grin:

it matters a lot, a lot more than idle noise

no, actually.. when I think about it, noise does NOT matter with this drive;

you don't buy a 10.000rpm drive to build a silent system.

So no give away? :(
