Default Western Digital NetCenter NAS

Network attached storage has been around for years in the server
markets, but now small networked external hard drives are also available
for the home user who has an LAN. Western Digital is one of the major
drive manufacturers that also produces consumer oriented network
attached storage. The NetCenter was their product that is currently
being phased out in favor of the newer My Book World Edition. This means
some great deals can be found on the older units. So, is it worth
investing in an older NetCenter or waiting for the new My Book World?
