Watercool your PSU

RichBastard tried to do this once, so he could remove ALL fans from his system, he broke off a resistor and was handicapped in such a way that running / repairing the PSU was undoable

it has use, if you want a supersilent system :)

You could also add a fan (or 2) @5v and also make you exhaust fan run @5v. Then your PSU is well cooled and super silent :)

You can't hear my antec running!

hmmm, going to try that after the exams

RB could take his PSU to velleman or so, they'll know which diode to put in it

if I'm not mistaking, make it heavy enough and it'll be OK

TerAngreal 8th January 2003 13:33

mmm ... indeed something to try in the near future

first one the list = finishing my new WC setup and that case i've been working on ... just "re-invented" some things on design and materials, expect this to be done when my new gear arrives :)

dewd's got one hell of an ugly system tho

I did. They're not magicians you know, all those diodes look alike and they can't tell which one was onboard, because it wasn't just broken off, it was shattered into pieces. :(

I may be able to repair the PSU if I would know the exact markings on the diode...

Has anyone got a Enermax 350W and is willing to take a look?

It's component ZD8, marked on this pic:
