Warner fights pirates by slashing prices - new DVDs for $1.5 Warner Home Video has begun trial sales in China of a movie DVD priced at US $1.50. This is the same price as a pirate copy, but it is legal. To get its product down to that price level, Warner has had to skimp a bit on the packaging. It is shoving the cheaper DVD into a cardboard envelope. |
i'd never download another movie if they'd sell em for $1.50... DVD quality, official disk and legal? sjeez! |
take example microsoft.... |
only way we'll get it at that price is if we move to China; people in China don't make $3000/month, rather $300... |
still, plenty of suggestions there to cut piracy |
I'd never dl another movie if i could get em for $5. |

you're selling it in the few big cities, where people do make more money than you think. 1.5$ really isnt that much for them either. |
