Valve Is "Very Aware" of Half-Life 3 Jokes, Hints at "More Things" Coming
 

During an interview with IGN regarding upcoming digital collectible card game Artifact, programmer Jeep Barnett noted that Valve hasn't missed any of the memes devised by impatient fans clamoring for a third Half-Life game. While a new adventure with Gordon Freeman appears unlikely, team member Brandon Reinhart hints that a good portion of the company is ready to return to their roots. "Now we're in a place where we're able to, as a company, invest and focus a lot more on games again," Reinhart said. "The answer to 'you're just sitting on your butts, sitting on a pile of money, swimming around the gold vault,' is to not actually do that. To deliver a bunch of high-quality games that show we're actually working really hard."
