Triple-Channel DDR3-1600 SDRAM Kits for LGA1366 Systems
 

In our opinion DDR3-1600 SDRAM is the best choice for systems with Intel Core i7 processors in terms of price-to-performance. what's your opinion on the test data Thorgal?

I think it's a shame they only tested 1600Mhz, results are not very interesting this way as we all know that in the end almost all kits perform the same.

When it comes to overclocking I feel that they missed an opportunity : some modules (like the Corsairs) are equipped with Elpida B chips that perform much better with TRCD raised a notch above the CAS latency, which would result in a totally different chart.

In the end saying that the crucials are the best of the bunch when they only deliver OC results in the middle of the pack, and only based upon their XMP profile, is really stretching it in my humble opinion. I can say that the Crucials are definately not the best of the pack at 1,65V (but could be at higher volts), they profit from the fact that they do like straight timings (777 - 888 -999) whereas other kits don't. They're also quite expensive compared to the rest.
