TCCD chips taken hostage GET ONTO the main floor and listen up, people. It's nine in the morning, and we have a new threat to the security of the world overclocking economy. Samsung is discontinuing its TCCD memory chips, we learned exclusively just hours ago. http://www.theinquirer.net/?article=21168 |
Samsung stopped making TCCD chips! It seems like Samsung stopped making the TCCD chips and jumps into the DDR2 market! If you are waiting to buy some TCCD I would suggest not to, and buy some now before the stock is running to it's end and the prices go up ( cfr. Mushkin's bh-5 series )! edit: after doing some research it seems like the latest batch was 0445 and whe are now 0506, so that whas 3 months ago! |
Damn, bad news. |
we're doomed, doomed I tell ya :badair: very bad news idd. |

Well, you can't compare RAM who needs 3.2V at least to reach 280MHZ , with RAM that reaches 280MHz @ 2.8V ;) |

300mhz relaxed timings ~= 270 mhz tight timings, and TCCD can reach over 300 mhz so starting from then TCCD has the advantage! |
