Icon17 Swiftech™ introduces the Quiet Power™ P180 liquid cooled computer chassis

Lakewood, CA – Saturday December 2nd, 2006 12:18 PM Pacific Standard Time- Rouchon Industries, Inc. dba Swiftech™ today announced the release of the new Quiet Power™ line of Liquid Cooled barebones. The Quiet Power™ P180 is a computer chassis including a pre-assembled Swiftech liquid cooling system destined to facilitate consumer access to high-end cooling solutions. The product was specifically engineered for maintenance-free and ultra-quiet operations and it is based on the Antec® P180 chassis. "We first introduced the Quiet Power™ name in 2002. Our recent move to a new and larger facility allows us to revitalize this production, and the Quiet Power™ P180 is the first iteration of a complete line of products that we hope will reach untapped market segments, particularly in the computer retail and system integrator sectors" said Gabriel Rouchon Swiftech's Chairman & CTA. Mr. Rouchon also added "We have accumulated considerable experience in water-cooling over the years, and this product line truly sums it all up". The Company also disclosed that an agreement had already been concluded with major US Computer Retailer Micro Centers® to carry the Quiet Power P180, and the product should be on the Micro Center® shelves as soon as January 2006.

I don't see any problem with PSUs, as long as you have that fan guard there as in the picture. The extra long models may be an issue... but length isn't everything on a PSU

I was about to cry when I saw the topic, but after seeing the price I felt much better. The price on that is the dealbreaker I think... that and it doesn't look built to handle a high-end GPU + CPU combo.

Now something like this would be better for a P180 user... http://www.koolance.com/shop/product...roducts_id=352
