| Stark's Quest for Silence, Part 1: Cooling One of the most annoying things about computers nowadays is the excessive amount of noise that accompanies them. As computers get faster, the fans inevitably get larger, louder, and more irritating. My old computer was no exception. A great machine (AMD 2800+, 1GB Kingston Memory, 120GB hard drive, DVD Burner, ATI Radeon 9500 Pro) but when it was fired up, my entire room sounded like an Apache helicopter about to take off. http://www.auphanonline.com/articles...rticle_id=1309
