Starcraft 2 Beta: CPU benchmarks - Core i5/i7 leading
 

PC Games Hardware ran some CPU benchmarks with the Starcraft 2 Beta. From our results we learned that the current version of the highly anticipated game utilizes only two processor cores, but benefits from additional cache. AMD’s Phenom IIs are doing well, but can’t reach the performance of Intel’s Core i5 and Core i7 variants.
