Star Wars: Squadrons coming on October 2nd
 

Gets PC requirements, will support cross-play

Electronic Arts has released a cinematic trailer for upcoming Star Wars: Squadrons game that will be launching on October 2nd, and will support cross-play across all platforms, including PC, Xbox One, and Playstation 4.

Previously known as the "Project Maverick", the new Star Wars game from EA, Star Wars: Squadrons, has been revealed earlier this week. The game will feature both a single-player campaign as well as multiplayer modes. The multiplayer will include 5v5 modes, which will include dogfights and fleet battles, all set in space.

EA also revealed PC system requirements for the game, including VR ones, which will be exclusive to the PC, although it might come to PS5 at a later date.

The minimum system requirements including Ryzen 3 1300X or Intel Core i5-7600 CPU, Radeon HD 7850 or Geforce GTX 660 graphics card, 8GB of RAM, and 30GB of storage. In case you want to run it at minimum VR or what EA calls recommended non-VR requirements, you'll need AMD Ryzen 3 3200G or Intel Core i7-7700 CPU, Radeon RX 480 or Geforce GTX 1060 graphics card, at least 16GB of RAM.
