Default Solid state drives not all they're cracked up to be

WE HAD A chance to see the Sandisk Solid state drive in action and we learned that the new marchitecture is barely faster than the existing motor-powered hard disk drive.

A nice chap had two notebooks and booted two machines, one with a mechanical hard drive and the second with solid state drive. The test showed only a five second difference.
