Default Six generations of ATI flagship video cards compete

I believe many players have been really looking forward to "Radeon HD 6000" , In fact i was also very looking forward toBut before that,We will look back generations of ATIs flagship product and review ATI graphics upgrade process of these years.

We especially found Radeon X800XT, Radeon X1950XTX, Radeon HD 2900XT, Radeon HD 3870, Radeon HD 4890 and Radeon HD 5870 these six classic flagship product.

Nice!

You can clearly see how AMD/ATI is following Intel's tick-tock model with these cards. I believe they also explained this after the launch of the HD5k series: there's one generation of crazy performance increasement followed by a generation of similar performance but more cost-effective, cooler and smaller.

X1900 was not really cool and small as far as I can remember
but then again, no power measurements were taken back then.

we're missing X1800 series in the list here.
would be cool if HWBot could do charts with STOCK clocked models only, as with the inclusion of the OC results the outcome is not always "real world"

anyway... 9 generations of ATI cards compared:

More benchies: http://hwbot.org/hardware.compare.do... 5_1&id=1236_1

could also add in
HD4890
X1950
X800

their idea was good, but execution leaves a lot to be desired, since they're using in-between generation products too
