Default Senator Calls For Apple To Pull App

A senator from Pennsylvania wants Apple to take down an app that allows people to create a goofy fake driver's license. The politician cited everything from minors buying alcohol to terrorists as reasons to take the app down. I've never used the app but this picture is enough for me to want it removed. "Applications shouldn't facilitate law-breaking, which is exactly what this app does. Apple should shut it down immediately," Senator Casey said. "Pennsylvania just took a major step toward making our licenses more secure and an application like this undermines that effort. This app could allow criminals to deceive authorities or enable children to purchase tobacco or alcohol illegally."
