Default Seagate 7200.9 SATA2 500GB 16mb cache drive

For 25 years Seagate has been providing storage solutions for consumer and business that provide reliability and reasonable cost. The Barracuda 7200.9 is Seagate’s newest drive line ranging from 40G to 500G with enhanced performance in mind. The Barracuda series sports 2, 8, or 16 Megs of cache and spins at 7200rpm it also comes with a 5yr warranty. The 7200.9 is equipped with NCQ technology for faster access and better handling of multiple tasks by sorting them and issuing instructions as needed to read from the inside of a disk to the outside and vice versa in SATA environments..
