Overall, I’d rate the Samsung SpinPoint SP2504C as an excellent buy for the average user that isn’t looking for blistering performance from heir hard drive. This drive has shown it can leave a high-end SATA150 product in it’s dust, and it does it at a low price point. I’ve seen this drive running as low as $85.00, or roughly $3.00/GB. If you’re in the market for a cheap, high capacity SATA300 drive, do yourself a favor and give the Samsung SP2504C a good look, it could bring you years of excellent service
