 |  Rift is $599, launch details released as pre-orders start After years of preparation Oculus began offering the Rift for pre-order at $599. The wired PC-powered VR headset is expected to ship to buyers in March with Oculus co-founder Palmer Luckey suggesting those who aren’t able to get it in the first shipments will still get Lucky’s Tale and EVE: Valkyrie bundled with the Rift for free at a later date.
