Default Red Dead Redemption 2 brings several graphics improvements

PC system requirements are out as well

Rockstar Games have revealed all the graphics improvements that will be available in the PC version of Red Dead Redemption 2, as well as released full system requirements and a couple of new screenshots from the game.

According to the blog post, the PC version will take full advantage of the PC platform power, including increased draw distances, higher-quality global illumination and ambient occlusion, high quality snow trails, improved reflections, deeper and higher resolutions shadows, tessellated tree textures, improved grass and fur textures, as wellas HDR, 4K resolution, multi-monitor and wide-screen support, unlocked frame rate and more.

In addition to these graphics improvements, the game will also get a few game improvements including three new bounty hunter missions, two new gang hideouts, two new treasure maps, new “To The Ends of The Earth” mission, as well as new weapons, trinkets, and horses for the story mode.

Rockstart also released minimum and recommended system requirements, and while there are a lot of those graphics improvements, these do not sound too bad, especially considering the impressive graphics quality in new screenshots.

You'll need at least Intel Core i5-2500K or AMD FX-6300 CPU, 8GB of RAM, and either Nvidia Geforce GTX 770 2GB or AMD Radeon R9 280 3GB graphics card. For recommended, it goes up to Intel Core i7-4770K or AMD Ryzen 5 1500X, 12GB of RAM (developers and publishers do like this number for some weird reason), and either Geforce GTX 1060 6GB or Radeon RX 480 4GB graphics card.

You'll also need at least Windows 7 SP1 OS, while Windows 10 April 2018 update is recommended, and 150GB of storage space.

Rockstar has promised to release a new official 4K 60fps trailer for Red Dead Redemption 2 PC version soon and we are certain you'll need some high-end hardware to run it at such high resolution with all the bells and whistles.
